Please
note the following issues fixed with Service Pack 4 of EFI Designer Edition
for HP:
- If EFI Designer
Edition and the HP printer utility for the Photosmart 9180 are both
installed on the same computer, two USB printers (DOT4_001 and
USB_001) are available in EFI Designer Edition. DOT4_001 cannot be
used with EFI Designer Edition. Therefore, please make sure to select
USB_001.
- Different issues
regarding information obtained from the HP Zx00-series printer.
- The profiles for the
HP Photosmart B9180 printer have been improved. Please make sure to
delete the subfolder for this printer model from your computer hard
disk before you install the SP4. The path may look like these e.g. PC:
C:\Programs\EFI\EFI Designer Edition\Profiles\Paper\HP\HP Photosmart
B9180 Mac: Harddisc\Applications\EFI Designer
Edition\Profiles\Paper\HP\HP Photosmart B9180.
- It is highly
recommended that you use only the specialty media tray when printing
on "HP Proofing Matte Paper" for HP Photosmart B9180.
- Profile connector can
now recognize and prevent RGB profiles being used.
Addtional
notes: ZIP-compressed L*a*b*/Tif Files or Tif files that contain a spot
color are still not supported.
